FAQ: At the bottom of page 4 of the N3300 data sheet, there is a table, titled "typical minimum operating voltage @ full scale current." Does this mean that in CC mode and 30 Amps load, the lowest voltage customer can test is 1.2 V?

Not necessarily. Please note the other table on page 4 labeled “Specified current @ low voltage operation”. According to that table, the maximum current of 30A is available down to 2 V. The 1.2 V value at 30 A is a typical value under normal operating conditions, but is not guaranteed. At 1 V, the N3302A is guaranteed to sink up to 15 A, but not necessarily as much as 20 A. Also note from the “Derated current detail” figure on page 4 of the data sheet, all specifications apply only above 3 V. When operating below 3 V, the bandwidth will be limited and slew rate limitations apply.

Applies to: N3300A, N3301A, N3302A, N3303A, N3304A, N3305A, N3306A, N3307A
